A message to our patients and vistors about COVID-19

USMD Hospital at Arlington is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. As we work together to keep patients, visitors, and staff safe, here’s what you can expect from USMD Hospital at Arlington. We thank you for your support of these processes.

General Guidelines

  • Regular visiting hours are 7am – 7pm
  • During regular visiting hours (7am – 7pm) two visitors per patient per day will be allowed for patients who do not have COVID-19 or are not suspected of having COVID-19
  • After 7 pm, only one visitor will be allowed and may stay overnight
  • No visitors will be allowed for patients with COVID-19 (positive or suspected positive) in any department, except for special circumstances that must be approved by department manager

Visitation by Department for Patients who do not have COVID-19

Emergency Department:
One visitor in exam room; no visitors in waiting room; no restriction on visiting hours
Two visitors per patient per day
Two visitors per patient per day
Outpatient Services (Radiology, Lab, Pre-Assessment):
No visitors
Outpatient Surgery/Procedure (including Myleograms):
One visitor

Visitors Must Comply with the Following:

  • Pass COVID-19 screening upon entry to the facility
  • Wear provided face mask and wrist band at all times                    
  • Remain in the patient’s room at all times
  • Keep a safe distance from others
  • Practice good handwashing
  • Follow all hospital staff instructions
