Visitation Policy
There are no posted or restricted visiting hours for USMD Hospital at Arlington. Employees are expected to advise/assist and direct visitors as needed. Every effort is made to accommodate the patient and family's needs.
In keeping with the patient's condition and treatment, the patient, doctor, or nurse may restrict visiting.
Exterior doors, except Emergency Department doors, are locked between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
All general patient rooms Children may visit if free of illness, had no known exposure to contagious disease in the last seven days, and if accompanied by a supervising adult that is not the patient.
Waiting Rooms Children should be under supervision of an adult at all times.
Day Surgery Visitors, two at a time, are allowed pre and post procedure. No visitors are allowed in post-operative recovery except for in-patients, depending on length of stay, and parents of pediatric patients.
In-Patient Visitors will be allowed to stay with patient(s) at the discretion of the patient care team/physician.
Emergency Services Visitors, two at a time, will be allowed to stay with the patient(s) at the discretion of the patient care team/physician.
