Gregory Friess, DO, FACP Joins USMD Cancer Center Staff
Gregory Friess, D. O., is a medical oncologist and will be seeing patients at the USMD Cancer Center starting immediately. Dr Friess will be using USMD Arlington’s diagnostic and therapeutic facilities when initiating his diagnosis and treatment plans.
Dr. Friess is a native of Arlington, Texas, where he attended Arlington High School. His undergraduate education was from the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and completed internal medicine training at the D. D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his fellowship in medical oncology at Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC), San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Friess is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Subspecialty Board of Medical Oncology.
In 1994, Dr. Friess co-founded The Center and in February 1999 was elected chief of the medical staff at Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas in Fort Worth.
