Cryosurgery for Prostate Cancer

USMD Hospital at Arlington is the largest cryosurgery center for prostate cancer treatment in the country. Cryosurgery uses freezing to destroy prostate cancer without the risks of major surgery or radiation. The in-hospital procedure takes about two hours and patients generally either go home the same day or spend one night in the hospital.
